A Somerset Story

I am Somerset born and bred. My family have lived here for generations. and I care deeply about the county that he proudly calls home.

I spent ten years as a secondary school teacher. This helped me to develop a first-hand view of the challenges facing families in Somerset.

I saw the impact of Conservative cuts to schools and family support services. I understand how the cost of living affects everyday life.

This experience has helped shape my Labour values. That’s why education, childcare, and inequality is at the heart of Labour’s Plan for Change.

I am proud to campaign for Labour all year-round. Whether knocking on doors, delivering a leaflet, meeti ng community groups, or helping shape policy discussions.

Ahead of crucial elections to Somerset Council in 2027, my message is simple – Somerset deserves to be the best place to grow up in and the best place to grow old in.

Somerset needs investment in public services, affordable housing, sustainable transport, and opportunities for young people to thrive without having to leave the county.
